WHO AM I?
Hi! I’m Leila Cohan. I’m an Emmy-nominated writer/producer who’s been working across comedy and drama for over a decade. I’ve written for Netflix’s upcoming THE PERFECT COUPLE, as well as CHICKEN SISTERS (Hallmark), SPECIAL (Netflix), BRIDGERTON (Netflix), FIRST WIVES CLUB (BET+), SANTA CLARITA DIET (Netflix) and more! I’ve developed pilots with Hello Sunshine, Paramount, The CW, YouTube Red (lol), and the last days of ABC Family and features with Paramount, PictureStart, and Lionsgate. I’ve taught TV writing for Stage 32 and Netflix, as well as Westtown School and TV writing and sketch comedy for the Upright Citizens Brigade. I have one kid and two cats. They’re all pretty cute.
“Leila taught me so much about TV writing. Which is rude, considering we were the same level at our job. Not only is she a perfect joke writer but she is full *Clare Danes in Homeland* brilliant at structure.” - Ryan O’Connell, Creator, Special (Netflix)
